iPrint just made a friend for life. I’ve been searching for a way to buy printer cartridges for three computers and still put meat on the table. Yesterday I was a Big Lots Store trying to find an out of season humidifier when I came across an i*PrinT inkjet cartridge refill kit. It was $10.00 for 8 refills! That saves me $130.00 on the least expensive printer in the house. There isn’t a better deal out there.
I have used Cartridge World for the past couple of times, but that was $20.00 a pop. As a result of Cartridge World, many of the refill kits have disappeared from the market. This is the first time in a long time I have seen any kind of refill kit. Nevertheless, I can go to Amazon and buy them for $14.99. It’s more expensive, but well worth it.
Anyone can refill a cartridge. It comes with more equipment and instructions than I needed, so it looked more complicated than it turned out to be. I still had my Cartridge World cartridges, and those are not listed on the instructions. Here’s what you do.
*Avoid touching the electronic contacts as usual.
*Carefully remove the label.
* Keep label in a condition that will allow it to be placed back on the cartridge.

*Put your syringe together.
*Fill syringe with ink.
*Inject ink in indented hole. (Don’t push syringe into cartridge too far.)
*Clean any ink drippings with alcohol soaked tissue.
*Put label back on.
*You’re done!
